Brown or Cordovan for my Aero Highwayman?

I would agree Edward Cordovan can be worn with black at a push, but cordovan boots would be ideal with a cordovan jacket or shoes - http://www.life-time-gear.com/2013/05/boot-of-day-175-whites-oxford-shoes.html . And that's it really, there is no better colour, brown, black etc in a jacket its...

Brown or Cordovan for my Aero Highwayman?

You have answered wisely, and when you get a pair of cordovan boots or shoes you know what to do.

    Do It Yourself A2 Jacket

Secondly (what i'd do) you go on holiday to aero in Scotland, I'm sure you will find an airbnb in the village to rent cheap, and volunteer to work there for a week for free with the A2 machinists, you'd soon learn how to assemble an A2 in double time.

Aero Route 66 Advice on Pockets

Just make the handwarmer pockets very deep, and or, add cargo pocket patches on the front with a flap, also very deep, same pockets on the halfbelt deluxe.

Help me choose a perfect Perfecto

Seb I'm 6'2" and I wear short jackets all the time, looks great feels great no problem, I agree shorter people tend to look worse in a longer cut but taller people wear it well, I think the trick is getting the right cut on the trousers to go with the jacket, ie a higher waist. In regards to...

    William Lennon boots.

Another thing i would suggest Paul is to ask for the boots to be leather lined, this comes at a £10 cost per boot, but the lining adds softness for your toes and ankles, and to find a good pair of thermal innersoles and the boots will be bullet proof, warm and stylish.

Sooner or later you will understand that less is so much more and lug soles are only relevant for hiking up muddy hills and never ever to be worn in an urban environment. The only time I think they are relevant is at certain meet ups in san francisco where the combination of heavy lug soles...

    William Lennon boots.

Paul, go with the 78 boot, do not get vibram soles, they are both slippy on smooth granite surfaces and way to "macho" if you get my drift. You need understatement with heavy boots not overstatement. WL will fit a fine rubber trim on the soles. Use the advanced search option and type in...

    The Cap Faction

Marketing is a good thing, spamming is a bad thing. We are all marketing the things we buy and love online or off. An allowance maybe if a craftsman can explain a weave or material via the use of a product he has made I'm all in favour of it, I learn something and I see the end result.

I agree completely with you Two Types; we all are not just looking at the products produced here we buy, we make, we swap and sell ourselves I don't see why anyone cannot share their new range with us wherever they like - once - at least, sure spam is offensive but one post like above is of...
