Good posts men. Orvis looks great, thanks A.C. I will be checking that out. The Darcy looks lovely too, thanks for that. Sorry Worf, I know you poor bastards are sweltering out there, here in Blighty we are sittin' on about 20 degs cool breeze sunny skies, but the one thing we all got in...
^ after a little snooping around they are sanforized so they won't shrink so buy your size. My issue is the rear rise I bloody hate crack flashers, so I want to know how high/low they are against 501xx
Grayland yeah the slate is near black.
Thanks for the feedback winterland. What other brands do you guys go to which have a vintage look?
Thanks Thor I will try that one.
Okay fellas winter is coming, we have our leather jackets in place, tweeds and military too. What I'd like to see here is some great chat and excellent links on warm winter shirts.
I'll kick this off. I am about to take possession of this...
No, just try to buy it as close to your size and if its sanforized it won't shrink at all - as far as models for a vintage look you are safest with anything pre 1960's Lee or Levis.
Chris personally I hang my jackets on a good hanger and I know most other guys here do too. It's a nice feature but I wouldn't miss it if you lost it. But if you told me you were lining your jackets in 40 mommes of gold silk lining fabric you might get my attention :)
I've got the Eastman pinks, they weigh about 2 pounds, they are heavy twill and beautifully cut, get them. No wait. Don't get them I need another back pair.
