Books About 20th Century Men's Hats?

L'arte del cappello in Valle Cervo Sandro Maria Rosso (editor and publisher) 144 pages 1990 I posted about this book before (a few posts up). In the meantime I have worked on the translation of it and can tell a little more about its contents. The main chapters of the book deal with the...

    Randall Renshaw Restorations

It's what I do when I take pics of my hats; use a grey card and balance the colour off that. It takes some time and you still cannot always capture the colours of a felt, but it gets you pretty close.

    Post New Hats Here!

First of all let me say this is an absolute beauty of a hat! And it does take us into some new territory. Let me add a little bit to what Daniele already mentioned. "Mont" on the label is something of a rarity. This is the third known example. The others are Mont Brenva (a natural colour) and...

What hat are you waiting for today?

Chapeau Texan pour danser la country. Eh, no, but I'll take it anyway. Did not expect to find this one in France, but there you go. A bit of a lottery hat, because I don't know its size. Oh, and another one I do know the size of. Should clean up nicely with some TLC.
