It's what I do when I take pics of my hats; use a grey card and balance the colour off that. It takes some time and you still cannot always capture the colours of a felt, but it gets you pretty close.
I'm thinking it's probably early sixties. I think the "century" on the sweatband is there to commemorate that the company existed 100 years in 1959. So the hat was likely made shortly after that.

Chapeau Texan pour danser la country. Eh, no, but I'll take it anyway. Did not expect to find this one in France, but there you go. A bit of a lottery hat, because I don't know its size.
Oh, and another one I do know the size of. Should clean up nicely with some TLC.
