French Hats and makers.
Mossant De Luxe homburg in a dark(ish) brown called "cuba" . Size 60 with the bound brim at a generous 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Some staining on the liner, but other than that a wonderful looking hat. Superb felt too. Come in here dear boy, have a cigar. -

It's a very cool find, John. My experience with Gelot is that their felts are wonderful, but the finishing is more pedestrian. Like with most french hats it's almost impossible to say when they were made, because we don't have anything to go on really. -

Well, that lottery hat turned out ok. Turned out to be a size 7 1/8 Extra Long Oval. Close enough. Kevin McAndrew western hat. Size 57 with the raw edge brim at 7,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Very western like felt, with a nice hand though. Though to capture the exact colour in... -
