Excuse me, I didn't mean to spoil it. Personally I prefer to keep the original parts (lining, zippers...) rather than change them. Of course a great jacket, just look at the patina! As far I know, Scovill zippers got hold of Conmar production in mid 60s.

Yes, I think you are right, Monitor. This triangle shaped pocket is a Golden Bear's clear feature. Besides the two front pockets and the side laces. I miss the belt loops that I've seen in other Golden Bear jackets.
