    Wojtek, This hat is probably from the 1950s. Borsalino makes a modern version called Alessandria. I've never seen or worn the modern version so I can't compare. If you can find a vintage edition you will have a great hat--lightweight and beautifully made, with felt that is easy to shape...

I'll take these over any modern production hat any day, and because of the precise fitting they have a leg up on a lot of the vintage finds, which are hit or miss as far as fit...
