I was at a drive up with the wife last week when the young man kept smiling, looking at me, fumbling with our order. Finally he said "I really like your hat!", I said "thank you" then asked for our drinks..and he apologized for his distraction as he handed us the rest of our order....
This...
Here are a few I picked up recently..........
Identified on back as Lake Front Chicago.
And a nice French Chasseur cap!
Not often seen, a boy with a "Crusher" hat....
Miss Biddy, weighs in at 18.2 pounds.
Douglas Furbanks is a very long cat (over three feet nose to tail tip) but leaner build even though he weighs in at 18 lbs as well.
Needless to say the cat tree (in the top picture) is a very large oak structure......;)
VERY VERY NICE! Great to see one in a bigger size show up! I had one pass through my hands, but alas was too small so went to a good home......love that rich color of yours! Great Get!
I have been reticent to look too much for fear of popping some stitching. Will try to mirror around when I feel braver. With the investment I have in this hat I sure don't want to crap it up......Does have a keyhole size tag.
Be wearing this later today.....
Been wearing this one these past few weekends to some outdoor 19th century trade events (rendezvous) to a great deal of compliments and a very good offer to trade me a full blanket of goods for it. Ironically I purchased the hat just to see what I could do...
