I think it really depends on what you’re using it for. For my face I notice 0 difference between 5 and 3 blades. On my head I do. I try to use soaps, shave creams, single blades bought in bulk. Sometimes I am just too lazy or time strapped to go through it all. I don’t know if 5 contour the dips...
Haha no not the vintage ones. Only two. A surprisingly well made mall jacket, and my Schott. I’ve never pinned, patched, or buttoned anything like this, no plans to ever do so; especially very old vintage jackets or ones I might ever want to trade/sell!
Yes from around the same period. And good call for saying that. Schott definitely created this look and was/is most famous for it. But most of us believe it was probably a Durable he was wearing. There’s one or two other choices out there; but that’s the leading contender.
Thanks. I totally don’t need to spend the money right now. Which is why I didn’t go in with my Max offer right away and just get it. In fact the wife would probably be big mad about that haha. So I said eh I don’t need this….I just really want this. I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure.
Maybe it’s the lighting….but I wouldn’t exactly call it tobacco colored. Wonder if that’s Rainbow Country or the Tannery? But it’s certainly a very rich beautiful color regardless!
Im with you on stretch. I only have a few "skinny" pairs most of mine are just are typical 50s-60s style but in a slim or straight fit. But I cannot stand stretch! Its so hard to figure out sizing when everything is so damn stretchy. I order a 30 and it can stretch to like a 32-34 and then it...
Actually if you’re looking at them and want to knock it out of the park first try with something really special. Check out their Thedi offerings. He’s a craftsman and artist. Lots of cool designs and washes/coats he puts on his stuff to make it age different than most leathers.
I like to switch it up. I’ve gotten great at shaving my own head and face and it’s so much cheaper. But now and then a warm towel and the ability to lean back and relax can’t be beat.
Awesome for Shawn to make this right and do it so quickly. You really get the biggest bang for buck with Five Star. As long as you don’t go in expecting the highest quality materials ever and stitch per inch count. You can’t get anything better for the price and Shawn runs it the right way. Very...
I embraced my lack of hair and just fully shave it bald regularly and I don’t mind it. I’d rather have slick bald head than whatever is left to grow at this point ha. I also wore hats since I was like 10 just always enjoyed them so I get covered up a lot and it’s nice because people don’t think...
exactly: for now......What you should actually do is get the 519 or 626 if thats what your heart desires and then delete this account and block tfl on your browser. Youll be way happier in the end. If you hang out here the quest will never end and then you might also pick up collecting of...
BK should be just fine these days. I haven’t heard or seen a huge Andy blow up in years. As long as someone knows the history and are cool with it; I would think your order should be good. What are ya looking at? I’ve always been curious about the quality of their product range. Only a few been...
Also about shaving......do you know the brand The Holy Black? I enjoy them a lot because they make good enough quality...not the best, far from the best...but good stuff. What I love about them though is they do themed sets and things for holidays and they go way above and out of this world...
But in reality I honestly just must have missed it. I work in politics and I usually really try to stay up on things; I don’t want to blow this thread up and take it way away from original intent; but I want to be a good ally and listen. But if it was that big of a deal I’m going to Google it...
Expensive? More than a mall jacket but on RMC level of detail? nope but this is perfect man....great look. See thats what Im saying not necessarily defending Schott just those maybe not perfect jackets, those not super perfectly stitched jackets......but the ones that just work for you....and...
Mostly agree. They cost too much for what they are these days. Their Perfecto line has always been really solid to me though. Ive owned maybe 5 different Perfectos from various ranges 70s-2000s Always sold them or traded them away for something better. But what I realized to me now at...
