    Why not? They are actually easier to maintain after rain and you can put products that make them water repellent. As an example suede shoes are best for rainy days. Makes no sense to me not to wear hem. Roughout is way tougher that regular leather, there's a reason why welding leather jackets...

    I almost purchased one but 2000€ plus shipping + probably another 1000€ with taxes and custom duties,handling fees...on top of it...nope. I can't afford that for something I can't wear except maybe 2 months a year and I already have long leathercoats.

    I couldn't do that with one of my jackets from them. It ended up in the bin. It was unwearable, couldn't be saved. Even when hand washed and properly dried mold started to appear everywhere and the reek was even worse.

    Do you have a suede conditioner like the Saphir one? I'd definitely use it and then you choose wether to waterproof it or not later.
