I think most of them seem to have it. The thing is that the volume on the biceps and upper arm is quite big then it tappers.
At least on my Sunset it is like that.
The leather used for professional motorcycling and the ones sold for riding are more resistant to abrasion. It's not about how light the leather is but the properties of it. Kangaroo leather has the best abrasion resistance.
I can imagine loungers doing this with their leather jackets
If I...
I use Saphir products, in particular this one in neutral:
I always brush with a regular tiny brush the suede to remove dirt and stuff in my shoes then when they're no longer waterproof and dirty I clean them with suede shampoo and apply that conditioner if I want full protection I spray the...
Have in mind that all their jackets come from a very warm and humid place so something to consider. I'll never forget the Hermes french cyclist jacket in cream colour they sold... man that was something to admire.
Why not? They are actually easier to maintain after rain and you can put products that make them water repellent. As an example suede shoes are best for rainy days.
Makes no sense to me not to wear hem. Roughout is way tougher that regular leather, there's a reason why welding leather jackets...
I almost purchased one but 2000€ plus shipping + probably another 1000€ with taxes and custom duties, handling fees...on top of it...nope. I can't afford that for something I can't wear except maybe 2 months a year and I already have long leathercoats.
In my opinion the chest looks way too tight with the leather pulling and you're only wearing a tee.
Regarding the lenght, well personally I don't like it for the style but it's your choice.
I really envy you guys.
Leather jacket weather is gone here in Barcelona. Can't really wear them anymore, it's too hot for them. The moment I start walking I'm sweating like a pig.
You soak your arms in water and pull back the sleeves like you would do with a long sleeve tee or a shirt and let those sleeves crease and dry creased.
You'll notice how they shorten a bit but it's not a permanent thing. As soon as the leather drapes they will keep the creases but the leather...
Leather jackers that come from bales are pure lottery. The condition can and will vary greatly.
Also the pressed wrinkles can’t be erased unless to try extreme methods like ironing or steaming which I wouldn’t recommend.
Mine was described properly as having a bad smell in the lining but it...
I couldn't do that with one of my jackets from them.
It ended up in the bin. It was unwearable, couldn't be saved. Even when hand washed and properly dried mold started to appear everywhere and the reek was even worse.
It's very warm but I recommend not using it on the sleeves. It won't be easy to put in your arms. Unfortunately whet I got the size 38 being the intrepid reversible it turned out too small to even button all the button row and can't layer a thing (Not that I'd need it but a bit of room is good...
Not worth it and it could turn out being a mess. He needs a smaller size overall.
Good luck with the sale. It's basically MINT.
I have a couple of deerskin jackets from Freewheelers and I know how fast they develop character so this one is like new.
