the jacket is the best yet it's only getting better too. super cool outfit and I still think those are the coolest pair of jeans ever. never did place my order from that link you shared (too much info/measurements needed lol) me but it really make me wonder if I should go for it lol
that's the spirit! can't wait until my Mulholland relaxes and stretch out a bit more but not as excited to finally see wear where the brown core shows through. that may be 5 years down the line though lol
thanks nick, French seams are cool for sure. I'm just nitpicking lol the front drop is a matter of preference, I like mine at 1" so there's better proportion the how the jacket wears/look in contrast to the sleeve length. the puffy waist meanwhile is hard to see on photos but its when you wear...
Follow up fit photos of the custom black canetto cowhide. I've been wearing the jacket everyday since last Friday, it got rained on a little and it's not meant for inclement weather as it got wet very quickly but it did make the jacket form faster around my body. Definitely a welcome change...
agreed, also the brass should fade over time as the leather shows brown so both the hardware and leather will age. didn't think of it that way when I requested nickel hardware lol
Dense fine smooth grain horsehide in midweight 2.5-3.5 oz range seems to hit all the right notes for me. Horween/Italian/shinki what have you in whatever finish I'll take them all lol
this looks and fits very nice! congrats brother and thanks for the great write up. the padded shoulder/elbow looks awesome.
not one of mine for sure, I wonder who ordered this. it's a little wild in a good way.
can't wait to see what quilted design you'll get and what leather you'll go for...
man I should have really went for brass hardware as it looks so much nicer with the black teacore! that fits you very nicely and the sleeve design looks right at home on the j24 imo
I'm sure you can spec it with however many snaps you prefer but I didn't so they just placed snaps as the see fit. I didn't feel bothered and no rubbing with the studs on the back of my neck.
this looks great, this would have been a perfect black jacket and you would have been set. Lovely details on those seams. I hope you are able to sell this on soon. all the best brother
thanks nick, it is definitely worth the wait And I really do hope you get yours soon before the heat of summer comes around. I'll post updated photos later in the week as I've been wearing the jacket regularly and it has taken shape around me already showing deep rolls in the sleeves. The body...
hey brother, I had them make 3 detachable collars already. They can use snaps or buttons depending on your preference. I quite like how the fur collar is made wider so it rests better on the shoulders and they make it that it's comfy to wear and no irritation in the back of the nEck. The fur is...
