I agree! This jacket has me at a strange place. Was given to me free, unannounced…just appeared at my door, compliments of an incredibly generous member here. The strange place is that I haven’t even looked at the jacket I dropped a grand on since I opened this vintage gem. Not that it matters. Moral of the story is that this is a great community and I am blessed to be a part of it. Good deeds are contagious, and I feel compelled to pass that along. So I will do so very soon. But it for damn sure won’t be this jacket:D
Gees that's a lovely gesture from someone. You're doing it justice Ton, looks great on you! Front yoke is really cool. I'm not usually big on those pockets but they suit this jacket perfectly as well.

thanks man, It is my fav jeans too, personally I would say go for it :) They make double knee workpants in jeans and duck too, with hammer loop etc, so what I asked was not new to them, just make sure never to choose unsanforized for a double knee... it would look twice as ugly when it twists on one leg with all the double knee details :D

My jacket just got slightly wet on the way back from supermarket, i dont walk in the rain oh no that would be stoopid:eek:, but as i parked my car on my driveway, i took a sweet time peeking into my mail box, checking construction work on the neighbor's house, looking at the sky muttering something, say hi to neighbor's domestic helper, searching for my house key, and then get into a shade.... totally natural. And Awwwh noooes the jacket is slightly wet damn rain...:rolleyes:

Crappy pics are my MO these days, sorry for that best I can do at 5:30 AM or PM. Light is getting scarce. I’ve worn this everyday but one this week, which has been rainy and cold(ish). I am determined, and have put concentrated effort into knocking the ugly out of current offering comp weight. No small task. The hide is essentially water proof. The sleeves are creasing nicely and the body is starting to mold pretty well. A start.
