    Found the original liner in my Hercules jacket, meaning mine is actually a Roughwear model from 39-40 which is what @jeo suspected all along. I'm pretty happy. I feel like I got a better deal now haha.

    Yahoo auctions japan is definitely your best bet. I've seen a lot of size 34 Freewheelers jackets on there. Freewheelers will be difficult to find anywhere right now. They aren't producing much due to leather quality issues, so second hand prices have skyrocketed

    I'd say lighter medium. My Sears hercules is much heavier, but I've felt other jackets that are lighter than this.
