Heck of a Borsalino hat!
I don’t buy hats anymore but when i saw Stefan post that one i had to chew my arm off not to.

Trenchy, i’d say hell no. No movie around early-mid 70s popularized the M-65 or any other military clothing. At least not in the Midwest of the USA.
The US wasn’t even totally out of Viet Nam. The country was unified in opposition to that war and veterans weren’t exactly held in high esteem.
The...
I had a Sargent in the Marine Corps that had his M-65 tailored to a proud Fedora Lounge fit level. Actually all his uniforms even day to day utilities were.
Was really weird for @1973-74. That guy was poster boy perfect and knew how to work the system. And most oddly he was a pretty cool guy and...
Another new hat fact revealed at the lounge. (at least to me)
Especially when one considers how soon after WW11 this was.
A German manufactured Resistol.

Time honored pith helmet.
Never goes out of style.
Super sun protection.
Suspension inner workings breath second to none.
Plus they are just plain cool.

Stop yousplaining!
When digging a hole it’s best to stop digging before the walls cave in.
Many have tried and many have died.
That’s called…history.
You’re….no….different!!
Most know this.

Thank you so much. Appreciate it.
Pics were from several years ago but it’s still a gorgeous example of a shimmering, blue silverish, swirly longhair that loves to be pet. A top 3-4 hat of mine.
Here’s another pic cause it has Little Willow of old in the backround. She’ll be 7 in a couple...
Well there now. Someone’s finally said it and so much nicer than i would/could.
Been using the “situation” as therapy for practicing my “nice mode” at the expense of a few extra blood pressure and anti-arrhythmic meds. Thanks fellows for saving me a few bucks.
Just took 10 yrs of lounge...
