Understood. Yes they're definitely not too tight. Don't worry I wasn't thinking of it negatively, but I appreciate the clarification!
I'm enjoying the greater room in the sleeves on vintage jackets. So much more comfortable for me compared to my Japanese jackets I used to have.
Yeah like I said, it's very minor. A lot of my cross zips do this to a degree when unzipped. Definitely not as bad as the OP's jacket though.
The sleeves on my jacket look loose you mean? Sorry, just trying to clarify.
Yup! Couldn't resist. Sold a few big items recently which meant I could justify the purchase.
Thanks! Very excited about it. These photos are from before they added the rabbits foot. Funny thing is that they told me they couldn't include the rabbits foot for me due to customs, which is fine...
Have this beauty on the way- a 1940s Sport Togs by Seattle Woolen. This one is very similar in style to my favorite non-vintage jacket I ever owned, the Freewheelers Sunset. 30s-40s short aviators are my favorite style of jacket so as long as this one fits like I hope it will, it'll be a...
Looks like a good fit overall, OP. The body and sleeves are slightly long, but otherwise its a good fit. Narrow sleeves are in issue with most Japanese jackets. It should get more pliable in that area over time, but will always be narrow
Interesting. My J22 does the same thing when unzipped. It's to a lesser degree due to the taper, but still similar.
It still looks a bit worse on the OP' jacket to me though. I think the jacket does look a little big throughout the body in my opinion.
I love a black leather jacket, t shirt, jeans, pair of boots look more than almost any other look, but yeah when you had the hat, rhe name on the jacket, the specific ringer t shirt, the look becomes atrocious.
But really, it's the stupid hat. Even on Brando I think the hat looked lame.

Wild how large the reverse drop on this jacket is. I'm surprised by how many of my vintage jackets, including leather ones have this design.
Yeah that one looks like it almost could have come from the 70s if the leather were different. My 40s long half belt from sport clad also has a fairly 70s look to it as well.
