    That West Ride CHP - well I’ll be dreaming of its fluffy collar! Not a fan of bullhide though. I can’t explain why just prefer smooth finish. I was also looking for a JL super goat for a long time but they just don’t come up for sale.

    That hooch is a beauty! I love CXL too and I like it heavy and thick! Same goes with belts - I have a 7mm Samurai belt and a 12mm custom Latigo ‘gun belt thickness but dress belt width). It may be just me!

    I’d compare CXL to what we in the UK call stirrup leather or harness leather elsewhere - it is tanned then hot stuffed with wax and fats until saturation. The purpose is weather proof and extremely hard wearing

    Yes mate Vanson used to offer heavy HH (I vaguely recall Horween CXL but others can correct me). Rumors have it that Vanson has the best cut and couple that with a heavy HH I just have to experience it! I got it from a fellow lounger here
