Free warranty repair or exchange versus out of pocket fix later on? I think free warranty wins.
Mine didn't come apart after 6 months but I did sell it 6 months in because the leather was way too stiff for my liking and the wind flap drove me nuts.
@morrison2951 congrats, that jacket looks great on you!
@jacketjunkie thanks for following up.
I have been wearing this jacket daily since I got it. I ordered the second Aero 2 months ago and need a black jacket so I'm not cancelling it. I did follow up with Aero about sizing and we changed...
@MrProper thanks for the detailed response! It has a Talon zipper.
@jacketjunkie fair point. I didn't order both jackets at the same time for this reason. I figured I could use this Bootlegger to tailor the Highwayman if I got anything wrong.
Russet Badalassi and yes it squeaks!
Giving credit where credit is due. I follow Dale's Leatherworks on youtube and seeing a video of his Hooch Hauler connived me I needed an offset but I didn’t like the ornate backside enough to buy that pattern. Unfortunately for me Dale mentioned the...
You're worrying over nothing. Those shoes you bought weren't made yesterday and sat in a box somewhere for months and months without trees. Were they deformed when you got them?
I'd put Viberg at the very top. Made in Canada.
Oak Street makes a sleek chelsea but their QC is sometimes questionable and the elastic feels cheap compared to that of RM .
Grant Stone boots made in China are excellent.
Nicks.
Carmina are excellent tho made in Spain.
What's wrong with...
That Jordaan is expensive! I would absolutely put cedar trees in those. The type or style of shoe doesn't matter any. Genuine leather shoes benefit from cedar trees.
I started buying Sapphire cedar trees but later found the same unbranded on Amazon for half the price. The only difference is...
At least that jacket looks great. My Aero Badalassi should be ready in the next week.
Bick 4 is known for not changing the color of leather maybe give that a try but I too would just keep wearing that jacket even around the house until it loosens up.
It looks bulky on you. You could email Schott and ask for the product spec sheet of that jacket to help decide if small is too small. I've done that and it helped me make the right decision twice.
Where in Canada are you?
I hope you have better luck than I. I absolutely hated my 689H and let it go. The leather was too shinny even after 6 months and the jacket didn't soften up any. That wind flap drove me up the wall!
2 jackets. I used to wear several cheap leathers now use a Schott P571 and nice Harley jacket I got them to throw in for $50 when I bought a bike.
Pants are just regular jeans.
Tecovas boots. I started with 6" boots but my left pant would ride up and my leg got cold. That doesn't happen with...
