I've bought 3 jackets from Aero in the past year. Chloe always responded to me within a day. My first 2 emails did go unanswered until I checked junk mail.
Why is it taking forever? That's usually a result of the customer not finalizing everything. That 10-12 weeks is from the day you confirm the order with their customer service. It's not from the day you ordered the jacket on their website if you didn't know.
Leather anything can be a gamble. I would just wear them knowing their construction is solid if those were mine but fully understand how that would upset others. Viberg should definitely take a return no questions asked if they're unworn. I suggest sticking with stocklists.
I bought 3 new Aeros this year. The last was an apprentice build the week before this sale (damned impatience!). This price increase wouldn't stop me from getting another.
Parkhurst makes a stitchdown but Aerofan is right. You do get what you pay for with Nicks.
White's and Viberg cost the same if not more. He may as well stick to Nicks on a used pair since that's what he wants.
Thanks again! I'll look elsewhere.
Thanks and you're right. I have a 50s Bootlegger STF that's 40" and I sent Aero pictures of me wearing it to finalize the Highwayman. I originally chose 40" for the Highwayman but they suggested 42".
Hello Fedora!
I'm hoping the good members here can assist me understand how this would fit. I have it in my head to get an old jacket and I'm eyeing this one from Aero's website. I also have it in my head to be pro made in Canada and "likely of Canadian origin" has me intrigued! lol
I'm 5'8"...
I should have clarified. I didn't mean Aero's can't take it or they're not durable. My bike doesn't have a fairing or windscreen. I do a lot of long distance riding and all that road debris hits my jacket (and face!). The front side of my Schott is already fairly beat up after just a year and...
I think Aeros are too nice for riding. The 2 I have are for casual. I wear a Schott P571 on my bike and I'm looking for a second hand offset Schott too.
I don't think you're doing something right. If you are a 10.5 brannock wearing IR 9s your toes would be jammed against the front of the boots. Is it possible you sized yourself on a woman's brannock?
Give this a read. I thought buying a brannock was a dumb idea but I got one and it was money...
This is very unusual. You normally go down half a size with most US boots. 10.5 brannock means your IR size should be a 10.
UK sizes are mostly 1 whole number less than US sizes and true to size. 10.5 US size is normally a 9.5 UK size. Your Viberg size should be 9.5.
Some people suggest half...
The best jacket is the one you like wearing. Forget about everything you read about.
I have a Himel, I love it and wear it all the time when weather permits. I went to Dave's place, got to talk with him, he measured me, I got to check out his insane jacket collection, I really enjoyed it. I...
Ive complained about a Schott 689H I had being stiff as a board a few times here. it was by my own doing and not because of any recommendations. I think HH has an appealing alure to it to people like me newer to leather since cow leathers are more common and thick heavy gives the impression of...
That looks cool. I sure as hell couldn't pull off a leather vest.
My Bootlegger is Badalassi and the whole thing squeeks even when I dont move and just breathe. My wife constantly asks if something is wrong with the jacket. lol
