The HWM is supposed to be a shorter jacket and this one measures as close to the OTR standard (of a time) as I had ever seen. At 25" back, it is, perhaps, even longer. :)
Absolutely! Can't get no grainier than this.
Agreed. And since dropping, Aero really had no business calling their jackets...
Hh wasn't well. He thought that thick hide could act as a thick skin and once he began realizing that things don't work that way... That was it for him.
He certainly wasn't banned for believing that steerhide is inferior to horsehide. Because then I would get banned for saying that kangaroo is...
You haven't mentioned if you're buying a brand new jacket from Schott themselves or used one and that's majorly important because none of the sizing suggestions are valid if we're not comparing the jackets from the same era.
Schott is constantly doing minute alterations to the patterns so one...

They're literally all the same, except for the Vanson C2. Schott Perfecto models are a rabbit hole of absolutely no consequence to you, as a wearer.
Also, don't get a made to measure leather jacket because it's never made to measure nor you need it. The OTR has got you covered.
Some pieces I listed are really cool but this one is the coolest. Had I landed this jacket before spending infinite amount of money on CCP, I wouldn't have looked back but as it stands, I'm trying to get some money back, minimize and possibly monobrand my wardrobe.
But this thing is...
I can see two reasons - Zipped up, the front of the jacket will pull at where the zipper machine is, which might leave creases and secondly, you have to be careful unzipping a jacket that's not on the body as the angle isn't right no more. I've had few zippers skip teeth like that.
But that's the thing - Why would I want my pants to fade and fray??? And does the fading, fraying and all that crap really look good or have we simply been brainwashed into believing it does because Levi's wanted to peddle more shitty, cheap-ass, mass-produced pants?
Yep. That and medial. Social or otherwise.
Ditto. There are SO many fantastic utility pants out there that fit like a dream, only to be completely overshadowed by jeans. . .
People wear what they know and they don't know any better. Jeans are so burned into collective consciousness that it's...
Much improved look. The pants are great. Don't shorten them. They work well with the jackets, better than jeans. I don't understand why the hell is the jeans x leather jacket combo such a staple.

That's my second favorite Vanson of all time. I briefly had one but in the wrong size but it's a spectacle of a jacket. But the rest of ones wardrobe definitely needs to be centered around the Star.
I personally think the jacket needs to be slightly to massively oversized as the less it looks...
That's the thing!
Because...
...and...
...implies that we don't really wear what(ever) we want but rather what we have to.
That's my issue with the fashion of today which, for the first time since the time of man began, is actually bad.
And yet the hill that our cheap, ugly, badly made...
