In all these years that this has been my hobby, I honestly have never seen even a half-decent Schott Perfecto knock-off, one that would have you question its authenticity.
Other than Fine Creek, that is.
But yeah, they're usually really, really horrible.

Much, much more refined pattern, especially in terms of utilitarian wearability. Aero makes a lovely, strong jacket but I wouldn't even put them in the same category as JL or Vanson, makers that both make professional motorcycle apparel which translates to much...
Very odd. Sleeves like this are trademark of low-quality generic "biker" jackets, usually made in Pakistan. Most where they've bothered installing a zipper had had sleeves done like this, with the zipper being strictly decorative.

That's what I thought but then the iron hook made a deep cut into the leather and proved me wrong. I know how it sounds but it can happen so easily it's not worth the risk.
Aye but HD Sportster has a aesthetically well designed, structured & accentuated upper part; Shoulders, chest, etc. While the shoulders on this Double Helix seem to completely understate OP's upper body part shape.
What's odd is that Double Helix makes a really cool jacket, otherwise. I tried them on in a couple of places and was really impressed. I guess it's just not meant for the OP.
Sausage casing? Man, zipped up, this jacket is giving you a bona fide hourglass figure, making your shoulders and hips look the same width! It generally looks too small and does absolutely nothing for you by neither accentuating nor flattering one single part of your torso.
