Work boots that can take lots of abuses. Working in the mountains, working in the rain etc. Preferably something European made since I don't want to pay 20% VAT tax and whatnot
So I was just browsing Eastman's Instagram and lo and behold! Guess what I found. Numbered roundel on left sleeve instead of on the right.

Hi
I am looking for a tough pair of boots. I'm wondering what do you think about Aero boots as far as craftsmanship and quality go? How are they compared to say, Red Wing, Viberg, Truman and the likes?
Hmm as far as I know, good quality merino wool should not be itchy at all. And wouldn't 21 oz denim be like wearing cardboard? Seems very thick. Mine are usually in the 12-14 range. Never had anything heavier than that.
Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know if Aero makes pants with belt loops? From what I can see most of their wool pants are meant to be worn with suspenders only.
So, I am tired of wearing these freezing jeans and cotton pants for winter. I am looking for something tough, durable and most importantly, warm. I have the cold resistance of a tropical fish, which is to say, pretty low. Already ordered my B3. And a sweater from Sou'west Chunkies, so I got my...
Well, I can post some pics after 10 years and we'll find out ! And I believe this particular jacket was tanned like this on purpose, to achieve this cracky-fissure like effect? No idea though since I am not a fashion designer at Levi's lol. I quite like the appearance of the leather, though.
Hi!
Thank you! I think the leather itself at least has been processed quite significantly since it doesn't smell like any of my leather jackets. I can't detect the typical leathery odor, if you know what I mean.
And I am trying to use the sticky roller to see if it gets better.
Hi,
It's this model. Apparently it's made in india and the material is 100% sheepskin.

Though I purchased it off Ebay at a discount. The seller seems positive to me, and I can upload the jacket as well if you can tell me...
Hi
So I just got a leather trucker jacket from Levi's made of sheepskin shearling. There's one minor annoyance that I notice is that the fur from the shearling sticks to my cotton t-shirt, similar to the way dog or cat hair sticks to your clothes, though not to that extreme.
This is my first...
Yes I believe going for the first knuckle of your thumb is just way too long and will end up looking sloppy. However, there are certain risks of going for 'just' your wristbone. You rarely stand passively with your arms hanging by your side, so while your sleeves might cover your wrist perfectly...
Okay so I get it that different jacket styles have their own ideal cuff lengths. Some look better with shorter sleeves, some better with longer sleeves.
But as far as winter garments, biker and military jackets go, what is the ideal sleeve length? Do you like it to tend right where your wrist...
It's no easy thing to suddenly drastically change the looks of our beloved jacket, I feel your dilemma. I still am not sure whether I will do it or not, but at the moment I think a patched and painted jacket makes it unique, like there is nothing else like it except yours. It will be a statement...
So, theoretically, it wouldn't be that much of a historical faux pas to patch a B3 jacket with the 77th "All aces no jokers" Fighter Squadron insignia and its respective Fighter Group, instead of your typical bomber patches?
