So far, that's the only book of Holzer's I've read. Really enjoyed 'Will Storr vs. the Supernatural' *lol* Read that one?
Me too, Poe is an amazing poet and short story writer. Long, long before Sherlock Holmes there was Auguste Dupin!

50s styles flatter my figure best also (hourglass figure). I can't pull off many of the 40s shapes and previous eras, because they're often too narrow in the hips. Though, I do have some 40s dresses that work on me well. Just depends on the style/cut I guess! Plus, I just love the 50s look...
I'm reading a few books right now:
Ghosts: True Encounters with the World Beyond, by Hanz Holzer.
And the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe (ah, again.)
And still getting through the collected works of Rudyard Kipling!

Hey everyone,
Your projects are amazing; great sweaters ladies!
I recently picked up knitting, mastered the cast on, knit, purl and bind. That’s about it for now! Making a scarf as we speak, then on to something more fun. I have oodles of 40s/50s patterns.
And…I can’t remember if I posted...
I quite like a few products from the Body & Soul Cosmetics line..but it's no where in the shops around here anymore. The website is up, but just with a message. Hope they come back...lovely packaging, and great face powder.

PS some left over stuff avail here...
I love it, it looks amazing!
I also have Simplicity 3673, but have yet to attempt making a dress (starting with smaller things). I was going to start off with the tried and true Butterick 4790.
Just wondering, if anyone has done both, which is easier? I have a ton of Butterick and Vogue...
OMG you're an amazing Jem! I've always been into the cartoon and dolls, I collect them. Have all the dolls, and the stage, etc. He he! One never grows up!
