    Thanks guys. I had no idea that was the model referred to as the "peacemaker." very cool. Wall Drug is so kitschy but the western outfitters store there is legit. I seem to make a point of stopping there every time I drive across the state.

    Just learned about this thread, thanks to @BobHufford I'm pretty new to guns, about a year and a half in, and have purchased a few. I've discovered I gravitate to revolvers of any sort, but am interested in learning more about historical ones, particularly from the Victorian era/Old West.

    Mostly Greeley hat works buckskin beaver top hat over the weekend, with appearances by Texas Hatters Cuenca bowler, and the cap they gave me from one of the places I stayed. Someone in the coop was wearing her feathery monstrosity as well!
