Thanks CherryRed. They really knew what loveliness was back in the day. I'm a sucker for glamour ads like this and automatically want to try their products. Modern ads make me avert my eyes, they're so vulgar in comparison.

Also, Plymouth had great ads!

Edison/GE had great ads for even head lamp bulbs!

Here's another visually rich, copy-free ad from the early 20s. Ads like this were daring and unusual at a time when most advertising was copy-heavy, extolling the virtues of the product.
