I fear that’s not a particular German issue but of any „old world“ country instead. Gaining a passport and nationality does not mean the end but just the beginning of integration and assimilation, in Germany, Denmark, UK, Italy, Spain…

Decades ago, I took part in a NATO exercise in Germany. Without getting too much into politics, I am curious what The average German (if there is such a thing) thinks about the current situation. Are they concerned about the possibility of a wider war? Or is it viewed as an Exaggerated scenario?
