When they crack like thunder then you are REALLY old. :p

It's not the sound of the joints cracking but the moans & groans
I make that startle my cat. So I gave Polo some earphones to block out the moans.

Polo hates rock, he prefers 30s music & Eddie Cantor flicks...:whoo:

You know you are getting old when you remember receiving handwritten letters from friends that are now gone & the majority of mail today consists of ads for nursing homes, burial plots or cremation services.

Would be nice to be stuffed along side with Trigger or was it Champion... kee-mo-sabe ?[huh]

"Hi-oh-silver-awaayyyyyy " :D

Read an article recently, that the largest component of the physical mail today is junk mail. I got an ad for a cemetery yesterday. I thought we were running out of cemetery space - at least in the crowded Northeast, so was surprised to see them advertising.

Roy rode trigger, Gene rode Champion the wonder horse and Tonto rode Scout.

Tom Mix rode Tony, & I believe later old Blue .
Hoppy had a white horse but can't recall the name right now. :p

And you know you're old when you can remember that the cowboys never
ran out of bullets, the hero's hat never fell off....and most all....
I loved the sounds the horses made as they galloped around in a never ending
chase...all brought to you in glorious black & white while munching on popcorn & drink
that didn't hurt the wallet...:D

The funny thing is the only ones buried in our family plot is my grandfather and a brother who died in infancy. It seems that everyone else in the family plans to be cremated and have the ashes scattered. :p
