I don't know what's more disturbing, that Tom Cruise could be from her grandma's generation or that I am the same age as Tom Cruise.
:eeek: :faint:

Stop being so fanciful Lizzie, you are much too young to be 52!I don't know what's more disturbing, that Tom Cruise could be from her grandma's generation or that I am the same age as Tom Cruise.

Not many people are, but the real trick is getting older and being any good at THAT.I was young once and I wasn't any good at it.
I'm a frequent visitor to Disneyland and I went last night with my housemates. When we went on the It's A Small World ride a horrible thought occurred to me: The kids who provided the voices for the soundtrack are now in their early 60s! :eeek:

Every time I get on my Triumph for a ride, I am 18 again! Sometimes, that is a bad thing, when I look down at my speedometer.
Or the moron who has placed his two-ton p.o.s. directly in your path because he didn't see you.Or look ahead at the approaching tree. :eeek:

Or he opens his door in your lane.....
Man! I'm not ridding with you guys.
The same abovementioned housemate definitely wouldn't like old black and white movies. "It's nothing but talking," he would say. Action adventure movies are more his speed.
You just ride in areas that are far too safe.
