Looking for a coat like the tough guys wore growing up in The Village and Little Italy in NYC in the 60s, and 70s.
Something like this:

Doesn't have to be anything fancy, or expensive, just not too cheap looking lamb.
Cool, I hadn't looked at that. Would you be kind enough to prove measurements, leather, any pertinentI have an Aero Veste de Rallye size 46. Black.
Yeah, the 60s though guy style it is. I saw this a while ago, but forgot about it. Thought it might be costume cr#p. Don't know the company. Price is certainly reasonable. I like goat, might work. Any idea how bad their lamb is? Thanks a lot of the tip! I will contact Wested.https://www.wested.com/life-on-mars-style-leather-jacket-376-p.asp
That one's lambskin, but Wested is great on customizations, so they'd probably make it in goat or cow (and custom sizing if you need it, changing the pockets, etc.) for only a little more.

info. 46 is actually big for me, but I often have to size up to get the 27" sleeve that I need. It is a loose cut to begin with, so a little more loose may work.
Thanks.
I have a couple of vintage ones from the period, various makers. Brown and I think burgundy or like a reddish brown. I can post some photos if you like.No gotta be black. Well.....what do you have.?
Sure, that would be great. I'm still leaning towards black if you find anything. Thanks.I have a couple of vintage ones from the period, various makers. Brown and I think burgundy or like a reddish brown. I can post some photos if you like.
Thanks for the info. Just too big for me.The 46 Veste de Ralley fits like a size 50, it has like 28" pit to pit.
That black Guido Sportswear version, 1970s wide lapel looks great. let me know if you see one in L or xl. Thanks.I have the Johnson Leathers version in black. It's fantastic and I wear it a lot.
Some call these a Guido jacket, don't they? I'm not from the US so I'm not sure if that expression is appropriate.
You can get plenty these on eBay for under $100 - I'd go for a black Cooper Sportswear version, 1970's with wide lapels and much better looking than the Mars version which is a copy of a 1970's English leather blazer with a more delicate and European vibe to it.

Wested made the Indiana Jones jacket for the movie and make a bunch of film TV jacket copies in reasonable quality.
Here's a burgundy one that I happen to have. Should fit well if you're a Large.
The guys I hung out with were not into anything delicate, to say the least. Still looking for an eBay for under $100 - black Cooper Sportswear version. Thanks!I have the Johnson Leathers version in black. It's fantastic and I wear it a lot.
