Ya done good!!!!! Everybody here had good advice!

Now I gotta go check my fire. Got some pork ribs on for Mother's Day! Bitter sweet tho. My first Mother's Day without my mom. She passed on the 22nd last month. But we will have some good ribs in her memory. Good luck with your endeavor as well!!

Nice job Shangas. I've seen too many axe heads crack when used as sledges.
First is a tough one Renault. Thirtyseven years for me. My sister came up from Texas, to PA, for this one. Always good memories.

Here's a shot of our fireplace, all cleaned and prepped for the big blaze on Thursday afternoon:

I used coarse steel wool and hot water to scrub away all the soot on the fireback to make it nice and shiny again :)
