Why did you sell your nearly new aero leather jacket(s)?

I don't know, but I guess it's mostly fit issues and the reality of wearing a jacket through the breaking in period convinces a lot of people that it's not for them. Whatever the case, I've certainly bought a lot of nice jackets at deep discount because of it. And sold a number of them on as well.
I think a lot of people find the reality of breaking in a jacket proves to be much more of a fankle than they thought. Heavy leather isn't for everyone and you need to get the fit reasonably close for it to be comfortable. I think there's also a misunderstanding: the leather is meant to age and scuff faster than is normal to create an accelerated vintage look. I have two CXL jackets, a Long Half Belt and a Bootlegger, and they are the two of my jackets that get the most compliments. They took a bit of breaking in, but they moulded to my body over time, they are absolutely mine and I can't imagine selling them to anyone.

Well said! Please do post some fit pics of these two jackets! Front back and side please :)

Nice to see you back here @Sloan1874. You were a prolific poster when I came to the lounge almost ten years ago now and it’s nice to see you again!

I still look in, but I'm just massively busy nowadays, with work and whatnot, and don't have the same amount of time for the extraneous stuff. Tbh, I haven't bought any jackets for a good few years. I think the last was was an Aero Wayfarer in unfinished HH, which has been with a great summer jacket. I do, however, have a Good Wear in the works shortly, which I got in line for, ooh, something like six years ago. Good things come to those who wait...

Which model of Goodwear do you plan to get?
