Yes, that's what I understood.My point about the cold and damp is not that the CXL will keep you warm, but that because it hardly really gets warm in Scotland things don't dry properly when used outdoors constantly (in my case, when I was hiking).
As an indestructible rain jacket, CXL is a good choice. It helps if the jacket is wider. I rode my CXL Cafe Racer motorbike for a while and it got really wet. Cool jacket, even if there are more comfortable things on a motorbike. I like CXL anyway.
