Not really role models, but male models.

Or to put it more plainly, the men on the lounge who always seem to have "the look" and that I always look to for guidance when I'm trying to put an outfit together:

Forgotten Man
Marc Chevalier
Douglas
Havershaw
Matt Deckard
Baron Kurtz

My boney brother of the brim in Berlin, Mario, really knows how to assemble a get-up and wear it with confidence. Gotta' admire that.

There are so many other influences and 'impressives' around here I would be up for hours thinking up the list. That's why I joined and keep coming back; to see, enjoy and learn while hopping from thread to thread and photo to photo. A very inspiring bunch on The Fedora Lounge!

AllAboutEve, Smuterella, FleurdeGuerre, ArtfulDodgette, Darhling, Lyburnum, Inkywine. OK - I'm just naming my friends, that isn't the same quite is it?!

But I do have genuine admiration for Smuterella for how she handles herself both in real life and online.

Friends/role models/sources of inspiration? In no order: HarpPlayerGene, rlk, Art Fawcett, jimmy the lid, RBH, Brad Bowers, Mario as both hat-wearer and awesome photographer, and the lesser seen not-as-sarcastic side of Lefty. You guys really know your stuff when it comes to style and research; not to mention being all-around class act people. :eusa_clap

Having only persused this past week, I would say
Miss Hannah (a class act, my grandfather would say!)
Fleur de Guerre (loved her blog for awhile!)
deleteduser (a young lady doing vintage always puts a smile on my face!)
Lauren (I wish I could get the odeas in my head tino a pattern like she does!)
Swinggal (she cut her OWN hair into a middy?? WOWZERS!!)

There are some very interesting gentlemen as well, but I believe I will keep those thought to myself suffice to say a man who smokes a pipe and drinks a good scotch rates right up there in my book! :D

I'd like to meet more FL-ers...as I really only wind up meeting them at Reading's WWII Weekend.

I'd like to meet StetsonHomburg, Vintage Lover, Jawisher and Chris Dillon.:)

Gee, thanks Honey Bee. I never thought I'd be a role model to anyone.

In terms of style I'd say Dinerman, Sproily, Douglas, Mario. The list is longer those are just off the top of my head. I have learned a lot about a lot from this site.
I wouldn't mind getting a hold of a few more of HarpPlayerGene's hats.
