He is phenomenal. I've seen him perform live a few times and it's always "Wow!" nonstop.Michael Buble,......what a show.
When you go to a concert, you know how you're not really hearing the singer's voice, but an amplification of it via a multi million dollar system?
Well,......at the end of this concert, he said he wanted to sing to us not a mic,....so he put the mic in it's stand, stepped up to the edge of the stage and sang as loud as he could to over 50,000 of us.
We all heard him,....and it was perfect.
Sweet! Saw his band The Slackers about a month ago here up north. One of my favorite live bands as He and They never disappoint. The last musician I saw live was Vic Ruggiero from New York. He played at a club in LA about a week ago. He music was mostlt blues.
Aaahh, I envy you. Great venue and a great band equal what a great time! Thanks fer the update.Saw Old Crow Medicine Show with guest Dom Flemons last Thursday at the historic Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, MO.
Who thought general admission would be a good idea in 90-deg. heat? Waitin' in line...
The theatre is a pretty amazing place dating back to 1926.
Finally getting through the doors.

Dom Flemons Trio was amazing, but the set was far too short and an encore was not forthcoming.
Old Crow had the crowd on it's feet and dancing throughout the show. These guys are really good live with tons of energy and an amazing ability to move to different instruments as needed. It almost seemed that one or two of them played every instrument that was on the stage at some point (excluding the pedal steel guitar).
The hat theme was western, but I missed seeing the Open Road that former member Gill Landry would often sport.
The set was a bit short and was missing a couple of my favorites (given that those were sung by another former member Willie Watson may explain it). Since I had been up since 2:00 am that morning I didn't file a complaint about the length.
The encore was awesome with the Dom Flemons Trio joining in for a cover of Bobby Troup's classic "Route 66" (appropriate as we were on Route 66 and it was the weekend of the "Birthplace of Route 66 Festival" here in town). They also did a wonderful cover of Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky" to end the show.
Overall it was a great show. Hope they come back soon.
Max is brilliant so too is The Palast Orchester. It's been a while but the last concert worth mentioning that we saw in person was of Max Raabe, who is from Berlin (Germany, that is). His little swing band is called the Palast Orchester. The little band plays and he sings. There are many YouTube videos of them. Most he does pre-war music and he sings in at least four languages.
