What say you? Not for me but these examples really jumped out at me recently. I think with a little chain grease, bug smears and some road grime, these would really look amazing. First is DD J-100 in Ivory Shinki and then obviously two by Himel. (the navy striped Kensington is a personal favorite)

I really love the look, especially with the black accents. I think that anyone here who feels they could pull off a black one could pull off this color too! It's beautiful.

White is just too bold for my taste -- it catches the eye to a much greater extent than brown or black. I don't want my jacket to garner that much attention. Moreover, white strikes me as a bit too progressive and/or even fashion oriented. Himel strongly disagrees and notes that their is historical precedent for white leather jackets. While Himel is right (see below), white still looks more fashion oriented than vintage repro to my untrained eye.

Here is a 1950s white Buco J-100:

Note the "very rare" comment. Here is a 1960s Taubers jacket:

Check out this vintage Bates:

Here is a modern white Lewis Leathers:

And a white Vanson:

Here is another vintage Bates . . . not white, but nevertheless not a traditional color scheme . . . pretty cool:

I really like them, but doubt if I could rock it. I do like the natural CXL and Essex look. I would certainly have a crack at something like that.

I am increasingly taken with the look of natural, undyed leather. Mightbin future consider something like an Aero August with a light lining as a Summer jacket...

White is really cool! I'm more and more falling in love with it but... it would get foul looking much faster than brown or black. This thing would stain easily so any odd sort of discoloration, like you spill some wine over it or something, and the jacket is practically unwearable.

Edward; as natural, undyed as it gets ;)

I had a great friend back in the 80s who had a white leather jacket. It was cool and definitely stood out in the sea of black perfecto style jackets that all the rest of us wore. It did, however, earn him the nickname "Capt. Goodguy".......for whatever that's worth.

I've long been a big fan of this particular black and white configuration and always wanted one. I'm not sure I might be 25 or 30 years past my ability to make this look work, but if I could ever run across one that fit I'd sure like to find out.
