It's hard to capture how fine and refined this brim edge treatment is - Borsalino excelled at this in the early 1950s.

I would love to see the start and stopping point to see how well it matched up when closing the loop and if they did any overlap for a couple of stitches.

Edit: Another great picture would be a side by side comparison of the stitching of the same spot both top of brim and the bottom of brim. Curious if the machines produce a look like modern serger machines or not. A modern serger will have a different pattern on top than on the bottom.
