Where to put things...

I've come to find I own quite a lot of hats and pairs of shoes, and I'm in need of a number of ways (preferably vintage methods) of storing them away for easy access. I like to see what options I have so I'd rather not stuff them all away in a box. I also need to find myself a few nice jewellery boxes (the hunt is on). I also need a method for storing make-up neatly. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find a thread on this subject.
