I use my own name. I am just not very creative with user names and passwords. If I used anything other than my own name, I would probably forget it, quickly. John

I've been involved in the rescue of abused and neglected boxers for several years and picked up the name boxerken somewhere along the line.

Just thought of it one day.

Then I realized both flowers were linked to death!

Dahlia - Black Dahlia Murder
Oleander - Beautiful yet Poisonous!

How funny. lol

Well, I'm obsessed with swing dancing, which most of my family don't quite understand. And I'm a bit of a dag, what with my bad puns and dad jokes. Lots of groans around with the appreciative wink or two.

I was telling the Melbourne FL crew that it was my daggy humour that got me standing out in the last job interview anyway, so hey, whatever works for me!

Well I'd like to say it's a reference to my hair colour (which it sort of is) but it's actually my porn name. You know, the name of your first pet followed by the name of the first street you lived in. Ginger was big ginger tabby cat and I lived in More St. I just found the name quite suited me so it's stuck.

Well, Audrey Hepburn is my complete rolemodel. I had no idea what to do for my username so I just put Audrey H. for Audrey Hepburn. :)

It's the name my dad calls me. He used to say it when he was refering to me, but now he just calls me "El Erico" all the time. I dig it.

An odalisque was a virgin female slave during the time of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. She wasn't quite a concubine, more of an assistant to.

I think it's a beautiful word for such a sad life.

I am a huge Hank Williams fan and I am a drifter, but on this forum I am a lurker.. from another site:

The fourteen "Luke the Drifter" recordings were narrations and talking blues. Luke the Drifter walked with Hank Williams and talked through him. If Hank Williams could be headstrong and willful, a backslider and a reprobate, then Luke the Drifter was compassionate and moralistic, capable of dispensing all the sage advice that Hank Williams ignored. Luke the Drifter had seen it all, yet could still be moved to tears by a chance encounter on his travels. Although little known in comparison with the hits, the "Luke the Drifter" narrations were the closest Hank Williams came to bearing his soul.

Mine?

Comes from the name of one of my web sites (which number in the septillions these days). Wanted something that fulfilled my rule - Kevin's Two Rules Of Naming:

1) Is punchy/memorable, and
2) Makes no sense/means absolutely nothing.

I named myself caddykid21, because at the time, i wanted a caddy, And because they are classy and cool. Kid because, just because. And 21, because i always put it in my names, since my great grandfather was the founder of the 21 Club.

I want to change it to PontiacJack21, because i think its catchy, even though im a Buick man!

Madelienne Black is sort of my alter-ego, I guess you could say. She's sultry, dangerous, sexy, sophisticated, and downright fun. She's my idea of a perfect femme fatale. If I ever had a pen name, this would be it. I'll never tell my real name though.

That last post was intended as a tongue in cheek comment at Gingermore's post, but it somehow got lost in the shufflel Oh well, it's been that kind of a day.

Deja Vu! Did I answer this question on this forum or another forum?[huh]

Anyway, it's old fashioned for a housewife and many housewives were just referred to as Lillemor, even by their husbands. I am very petite, I am a homemaker too and I am the proud mother of three boys.

Frankly, I like adjectives and this is my favorite one. Plus it's 1/2 the name of my blog and cuts down on having to remember 1500 user names scattered all over the interweb.

This thread is a fun read! The explanation above made me laugh.

"Smoooooooooooch! Mmm, Cherry Lips! Mm-ba-doo Ba-doo Ba-doo-doo..."

The song by the Robins. Cherries used to be (and still are a bit of) my signum. I once made a compilation album, a tribute to me, and this was one of the songs on it.
I didn't think it through at all; just something with cherry in it and I liked that doo-wop song that starts with a kissing noise. Now I think the name is a little silly  but it's too late to change. I'm also a singer, and love lipstick, so I guess it fits. Also there's nothing wrong with being silly! :p

Maggie is a common nickname for me-- my uncle has called me "Maggie Mae" ever since I was very small. I also love "Harriet the Spy," a child's book that became a film in the 1990s. So, I put the two together and became maggiethespy.
