My current one? I just found it funny.
The avatar is a picture of my 1929 Essex.
This is a great topic! I've often wondered what peoples' avatars meant/represented.
Mine is pretty run-of-the-mill: just me under the X-mas tree waiting for St. Nick!

I updated my avatar after reading that the US government destroyed a series of "Let's Move" stamps because they showed kids engaging in dangerous activities such as doing a headstand without a helmet. How did people in the twentieth century ever survive?

Soon it'll be too dangerous to walk without walking sticks. But then the sticks might become weapons. So we might have to resort to wheelchairs.
My avatar, for what its worth, is an image of me looking on with dismay and disapproval. As usual.
My current one is from a shopping expedition I led through the streets of Beverly Hills. Just a crowd of retro dressed people meandering through shops. I'm in front of Brooks Brothers there.
