Or in any dish involving pasta [emoji14]I will eat it if it is marinated in teriyaki sauce. Tried it once upon a time and it was okay. But I do believe that I would eat most food-like items if they were steeped in teriyaki.

They put sprinkles of sugar on top of the corn muffin. Yikes! Definitely not Texas style!!
My jalapeno, black pepper, cheddar skillet corn bread calls for a tablespoon of sugar in two cups of corn meal/flour. Never tried it without the sugar. But never ever sprinkled on top.That's another deal breaker for me, sugar in cornbread. I can see my grandmother shaking her head over that one.
A tablespoon of sugar for two cups of dry ingredients is an ok ratio (1 1/2 t. per cup). This had a teaspoon or so on top of each muffin.
