What's for Dinner?

I'm guessing no one has to be called to dinner twice at your house. I know I'd be the first at the table every night.

Lily is usually the first to the table. And her favorite of those three meals? The salmon burgers. She has asked me to make them again. (Maybe it was the homemade tartar sauce that did it.)

Short ribs with pulled pork and pork n' beans!

Chicken breast, mushrooms, broccoli, and elbow pasta (what I had on hand) cooked with a bit of heavy cream, garlic, and parmesan to make a sauce. Hubby adored it.

Had some sausages left over from the grill out so I sliced 'em up into a jar of store bought spaghetti sauce. They were pretty smoky tasting and ended up giving the sauce a barbecue-ish flavor. Not the finest of culinary moments, but it wasn't terrible and it was quick and easy.

Bar fare: Miller Lite, shrimp and potato tonite for the Bulls slugfest with Boston. Can't believe Chicago's got 2 on the Celts.
Especially not after the Hawks got swept away by the Predators.

First warm sunny day, so celebrating with Hubby grilling. Smoked sausages, cheddar sausages, smashed potato salad, and cucumber-and-tomato salad.

Last night, steak, potatoes, garlic toast, a dinner salad, and a couple of Angry Orchards.

Mesquite grilled pork chops, cheesy rice, broccoli, and lima beans for Hubby.

Meat loaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, mac & cheese.
