Another Christmas dinner for this afternoon...then the last one Sunday. I love this stuff...

Mmmmmmm.
I haven't had any of those big Texas style BBQ sausages in a while.

I generally throw them on the pit for the cooking staff to munch on when needed. Ergo "me!"

We ate the holiday meal at my MIL's house this year and she made ham, so I cooked up a turkey yesterday to munch on over the weekend.

Reminds me we have a few rings of sausage from City Market in Luling (my Texas fave!) hanging out in our freezer. They might have to come out for New Year's Day.

House made meatballs, Italian sausage, rustic tomato sauce, rigatoni, roasted tomatoes, creamy ricotta, basil.

More ham

Fried in leftover bacon grease.

With home made macaroni and cheese and roasted Brussels sprouts.

I'm pretty tired of ham.

Waaaaaaay better than leftover ham.

I try to do a "fancy" meal (takes longer to cook) each Sunday, with the perk of leftovers for hubby to go to work on Monday. He's been off for a week, so this will be a nice meal for him to take with him tomorrow.

I also baked him a loaf of banana bread to take and share.

Yeah, he's spoiled.
