It wasn't a Bacon Burger though. Five or six strips of bacon would make it better. :p
Guess what's for dinner tonight.. deluxe meal:
Bacon AND strawberries.
(what? Doctors always say we should eat seasonal food) lol

Bacon Candy Recipe:
INGREDIENTS
•1/2 cup brown sugar
•2 tablespoons maple syrup
•About 1/2 pound bacon
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oven to 350°F and arrange a rack in the middle.
Mix together the brown sugar and maple syrup in a medium bowl; set aside.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the bacon strips side by side. Using a pastry brush, evenly coat both sides of the bacon with the sugar-syrup mixture. Cook until the bacon looks caramelized, about 20 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
I'm putting this in my recipe-book. :D

I prefer Wright bacon if given a choice.
The best bacon I've ever had (comes from Arkansas) is Petit Jean brand.
It's hard to find unless you order online, and I've found the price to be a bit high.

Tonight I made beef fajitas, after marinating the beef for 9hrs.
Since I don't currently have an iron skillet, I used the wok.

I have quite a few relatives in Petit Jean (Conway County), Arkansas. I guess I need to get to know them much better.
