Victory Meat patties and Vegetable Scallops, both from the Pet Milk "Victory at the Table" Cookbook.

I can strongly recommend the "Vegetable Scallops". Tasty and filling. The "Victory Meat Patties", well I suppose that they are fine if there is a war on...

Hey Hoosier, did you know?
When we were in Ireland, we were spending time w/ British folk. They referred to Smithwicks beer as: phonetically pronounced "smithicks"
I also still resist the British saying "saydule" vs. schedule.

Did not know!
...But just who has the accent..them or us?
Get alode of this: Hoosiers say Warsh instead of wash. [huh]

Last night: chicken florentine with spaghetti, green salad with ranch dressing, bread. Delicious!

Tonight we're having smothered steaks cooked in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes, and either peas or corn for a veg.

Did not know!

And Texans say "arn" instead of "iron."

I knew people in college (from southern Illinois) who not only said warsh, but also ate karn. As in karn on the cobb.
