Yes Rue, it's 4.45pm here, so we're about 18 hours ahead of you (if you lived on the west coast of America). I'm always really aware of the time difference as my sister lives in Canada.

I ate alone this evening, as the daughter was at a friend's house, so I took advantage and made something she won't eat.... Tonight it was roasted figs (marinated in balsamic and olive oil), pine nuts and goat cheese with angel hair pasta and asiago sprinkled on top

Sounds delish. Sometimes eating alone is wonderful, you can please yourself & eat the things you really like.

It does indeed Hadley. I love smoked salmon. Have you ever tried avocado & vegemite on toast? Trust me, it's delish.

I will..! We have Salmon usually once a week or so. My gawd..I haven't had avocados in years,though..or egg plant. BTW..what is vegemite??
