Meatloaf and mashed taters. Once in a while, I get to break from the healthy fair and enjoy my roots!
Wow...you had a nice "turkey day" recently and now some eastern spiced chicken...when is the duck hitting the table?Tonight I had the best curry chicken in the world that my neighbour was kind enough to share with me.
That meal sounds yummy...make me think of "stuffed crab" for some reason?Lobster salad sandwiches with french fries cooked in duck fat. It was either that or lobster risotto. Actually, I coulda/shoulda made both.
It's lamb season in Norway now so yesterday I made "Får i kål" which actually means mutton in cabbage although most people use lamb these days. It is the Norwegian National dish by the way. It served with boiled potatos, but no other veggies than the cabbage, Some serve it with cranberry jam, personly I prefer sweet strong mustard.
An English girl who has moved to Norway runs a very entertaining blog and here is how she tells about the first time she and her husband made it "“Sheep In Cabbage” Day – Cooking Lesson"

Left-overs this evening. Cold roast lamb, red wine gravy, mashed potato, cabbage and baby carrots. More baked apples for pudding with lashings of cream.
Reading about everybody's lovely suppers has given me the urge to go and forage in the fridge. I must resist!

Everything sounds so yummy......
There's a few hours 'till dinner, but we'll be having roast duck, roast potatoes, carrots & asparagus. I dare say there will be a glass of red wine (or two) as well.
...Chicken Parmesan at Denny's. lol
