A friend of mine pointed out that I owed him a steak! So off to a very expensive restaurant. I had a New York Strip, no need for teeth, it melted in the mouth. When it was time to pay, my friend was a good sport and said, "you did only say you were buying me a steak," so he paid for the rest.

I had a "Double Double" with fries from In & Out Burgers

it sure was tiny for a double cheeseburger? look how thin the meat patties are.

Dinner out today for my brother in law's birthday. Pazzo's Restaurant, Stratford, Ontario. Carrot and fennel soup followed by a thin crust "Don Corleone" pizza (Italian ham and pepperoni) in my case, tiramisu to follow.

Tonight, baked ziti, half prepped by wife and the other half by daughter, completely delicious. Yesterday for Sunday dinner it was the pork roast enhanced with bacon, cooked in the crockpot for most of the day, then enjoyed with rice, green salad, and, because I paced myself, some blackberry cobbler. Family, feasting, and fellowship~

Leftover blackeyed peas and rice with some pickled peppers a neighbor down the street made.
