See?
Just like that dry stuff - just much more fun (deep frying is fun, right?) :D

You've made sopapillas. Just pour a little honey and maybe cinnamon on them.

Temp outside is dropping. This pot of chili should help.

Congrats on the sauce gear-guy. Homemade is the way to go.

Stray Cat that sounds really good.
BTW who is that sexy girl in the cauliflower? I can't keep my eyes off her. :D

VT I'll eat almost anything with cheese sauce on it, and a little hot sauce. That changes everything.

Listen, the reason for the cauliflower is it's low carb, and high fiber.
Since I'm on low carb, I use at least 1-2 heads a week, in the form of mashed potatoes, fried potatoes/hasbrowns, or fried rice with veggies and eggs. The high fiber goes along with what I'm doing already, which is 5 fiber capsules 3x a day. (the meal I eat cauliflower I skip one round of capsules) Sounds odd but my cholesterol is
160 and my triglycerides are on the low end of the range. I eat bacon, sausage, eggs (fried in bacon grease), pork chops, steak (not always sirloin but some fatty cuts such as ribeye), summer sausage (for lunch everyday), cheese, (aged cheddar and various shredded kinds), and
the Italian Meat sampler I posted about awhile ago (pepperoni, salami, and prosciutto wrapped around a mozzarella stick).
I don't take anything to lower cholesterol, and my GP has written down what I do to tell his other patients (so they won't have to pay for expensive statin drugs).
So I say bring on the cauliflower, as weird as it tastes, you fry it in bacon grease with peppers, garlic, and onions, and you've got something healthy and tasty. :D
All this talk....
I might do steak and chicken over pecan wood, and fried cauliflower in the iron skillet (I washed it James) tonight. See what you've done.
