On the menu tonight: kozhi milagu varuval (spicy dry chicken curry, a speciality of the Chettinad region of India, known for its very pungent, tasty dishes, this one is spiced with black peppercorns, cinnamon, green chilli, garlic and curry leaves) served with curd rice to take the heat away). Slim chances of finding it in your local Indian restaurant. Curious to see how it'll turn out because a) I'm not Indian and b) I live in north India and this is a southern dish, compare it to someone from VT taking a shot at TX chilli.
