The finale of The Night Manager. A good episode although it felt a little hurried at the end.
:D

Agreed, I thought the first and last episodes were the weakest. The last one was hurried and too many things got wrapped up too neatly, too quickly. The middle four (I think) episodes were the strongest.

Overall, and flaws notwithstanding, it felt a bit to me like the first three Bond films where the plot, characters and their interactions drove the narrative and not the action scenes. Even the Craig Bond films still have too much superfluous and exaggerated action scenes for my taste and could have stronger stories and Bond - villain interaction ("Casino Royale" is the exception - and that one felt closest to the first three Bond films of all of his).

A few more daily push-ups (needs to get some triceps) and I could see Hiddleston getting a few more votes as the next Bond. He definitely has star potential.

Part 3 of Full custom Garage. Finished the Big Daddy Ed Roth inspired bubble car. Lil' Daddy Roth made an appearance, showing his metal flake line of products. Even the best HD TV, can not show the depth of metal flake as well as the old Mark 1 Eyeball!

Daniel Craig went from pencil-necked guy who could get sand kicked in his face on the beach to looking pretty pumped-up solid when he showed up for his first outing as Bond. It is amazing what you can do with a ton of money, incentive and, I'm sure, professionals coaching you (heck, they could probably get my 6'1" 150lbs frame to look like it could hold up to something more than a light summer breeze).

So, my guess, if offered and accepted, he'll show up on the set looking bad-ass Bond.

GoT. Good if un-exciting finale. Nice homage to "The Godfather" though..

Worf

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! I turned to my son and said, "She's doing a Michael Corleone! Today Cersei settles all business!"

The many character purges, revelations, and new alliances in this episode - not to mention Winter finally arriving - clearly mark it as the end of the series' second act. (The Red Wedding ended the first act.) On to act three!

If you watched The Night Manager, you'd see the way Hiddleston already fills out a shirt. He was portrayed as ex-British Army for good reason.

And if you could show me the film or tv show where Daniel Craig was "pencil-necked", I'd like to see it! I wouldn't call him names in Layer Cake, for example...

My answer is weak, but my girlfriend and I saw Craig in a pre-Bond movie on TV after we had seen him as Bond and were surprised by how much smaller his upper body and neck was (hence, my pencil neck comment as, my memory is, it looked thin) but this is a weak answer as, even after checking IMDB, I can't remember which movie it was - maybe "Archangel," but not really sure.

And, yes, Hiddleston was pretty pumped up for "The Night Manger," but my guess is he'd take it up even a notch or two more for Bond - who wouldn't? Heck, I'd even throw a few pounds of muscle on my 6'1" 150lbs (and definitely pencil necked) frame if they'd let me play Bond. :)

but if you look, he had no triceps and very little in the bicep area as well. He needs to change up his workout routine to become Bond. James Bond.
