The Walking Dead,...are they REALLY gonna just settle down in that community? Live a "civilized" life again? Something fishy about that place.

"Fishy"? That's too kinda word to put on it. If that place were as safe as it pretends to be, it'd be full to overflowing with refugees. But it isn't. There's definately something more going on there than meets the eye. I don't know what the underlying threat is... but I know I'm not gonna like it.
Worf
Watched The Walking Dead.
The underlying threat is Rick and company have gone from defending from attackers to potentially becoming the oppressors! It's that old "fighting monsters" business..
Finished season 3 of House of Cards on Netflix. Great writing and acting this season. I find little reason to ever gamble on an overpriced theater ticket again.
Sasha shot a couple of dogs. She isn't holding this group together..
Don't expect silly Rambo like behavior every week. No real group of survivors is "on" all the time. Exposure to the elements, starving, dehydration will take its toll on everyone.
Rick and Carol alone could take that entire place.
They've yet to expose the underbelly of that situation. I suspect there is an entire covert system underneath it all, like the CIA. Deanna was, after all, allegedly a congresswoman. Not the CIA itself, but something modeled after it. Unlike The Governor's community, where the normals were exposed to their military and the infrastructure. This new place reeks of having a secret society. I hope it does, because it would add an interesting layer to a version of community. The one hesitation I have with that is it could easily turn into rote bait & switch storytelling. It's sort of hinting at that with these scenes of someone watching Rick and the gate through those dilapidated windows. I really hope that proves to be something more involved, or complex, than the fence-hopping girl. This could all be a repeat of my post about Vikings a few pages back: taking interesting situations and writing them in the most boring, used ways for the cheap payout of common drama. There has to be a group of some sort watching Rick's group and the community, because if it is supposed to be a person or two who sees everything and is always everywhere, including catching Rick putting a pistol in a blender, then I'll be very disappointed in the simplistic, and therefore unrealistic, writing of this arc.Rick and Carol alone could take that entire place.
I'm sure Carol could take the place alone. In her video interview she created a persona that is the exact opposite of who she is! Someone may have taken the firearm Rick left outside the compound but I'm sure Carol has something hidden somewhere..Carol alone could take the entire place. The rest of them would just be ancillary.

Hogan's Heroes
Hogannnn!

Remember the episode where Tyreese was killed? That graffiti referencing wolves being not far? I think that is something which will come up again. The wolves may not be anyone from this current town but there is always something around the corner..
Something is strange about all those women and the baby. Then I also want to know why Daryl didn't shower and cut his hair. I can smell him thrugh the screen. PU!
Daryl's sixth sense is keeping him from just settling in. He knows something just ain't right. Maybe the purpose of the place is to restart the human race by everyone playing Adam and Eve? They have all the amenities that everyone except for Daryl has missed, and also all the same old societal ills it seems.Something rotten in Denmark for sure,....:eeek:
