The whole season?!
I watched two episodes last night.:p
I noticed that McQueen developed the character better in the second season. His speech pattern is more authentic to the old west and he is more at ease in the role. The opening sequence also changed for the better.

Not the whole season. Just episodes 5 and 6. Good times.
I totally agree with you. McQueen is a new man after the first season. I guess he just needed time to grow into the roll.
The first season intro was kind of poor, wasn't it? :p

Yes, I have the 3 case DVD set. I like the TOS 2.0 episodes that I have seen, I need to check and see if those are available on DVD as well...
The remastered versions are available on both DVD and Blu-Ray, and I've read the Blu-Ray version allows you to "toggle" between the remastered effects and the original effects. That reminds me, I need to put that on my Birthday/Christmas wish list. :D

Has anyone caught a show called "Hindsight" on VH1 (I think) - I only mention it because the premise is one of time travel, albeit from today to 1995. The lead character is a woman in her early 40s who just got divorced and time travels back to 1995 where she is in her twenties again, but has all her knowledge from 2014.

Surprisingly, I've enjoyed it so far as the writing is better than the average TV show and her situations and decisions - who to tell, who not to tell, what future information is moral to act upon and what information isn't - have been intelligently written and handled. And the outcome of some of those decisions have been surprising. Also, the characters are starting to develop real personalities and complexities.

Compared to the recent relaunch of "The Odd Couple" which is not watchable - at all - this is a reasonably lightweight but enjoyable diversion show.

The return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Still improving, but nowhere near as interesting or fun as Agent Carter was!

In particular, the production design on this show remains terrible: it seems like most of every episode takes place in interchangeable, boring warehouses and other completely nondescript locales. Where's all the Steranko-esque style that S.H.I.E.L.D. had in the comics? Other current comics-based shows like Gotham and The Flash regularly look a lot more interesting on a TV budget!

Top Gear, Naked Speed, and two episodes of Wheeler Dealer. The last rebuilt a 63 Lincoln Continental. Those were light years ahead of the Eldorado of the same time period! Had to laugh, when he sold the Charger, the guy would buy it if he threw in a 100 Quid in petrol! Now I know why you hate hearing us Yanks complain about the cost of our gasoline!

versus a boring slab sided mess with no styling or verve. The sheer inspiration for today's boring cars for sure:

It is no wonder Cadillac outsold Lincoln more than two to one that year. People weren' stupid back in 1963. lol lol

The Big Bang Theory! Why do I get the feeling we are going to find out Raj's new girl friend is a mass murderer?

I had quite forgotten how nasty looking those Lincolns were. Thanks for reminding me. :p Looks like they took the front of a Ford Galaxy and just shlepped it onto those side pieces. So NOT creative so the government drove around in those all the time. The Men in Black especially I think, so as not to be conspicuous.;)

Some companies were stuck in the 50s. Tailfins, that was so 1959!

Tailfins are good. I want them back. The public in 1963 was smart too. They bought WAY more Cadillacs than ugly Russian looking vehicles. On top of that the 1963 had a brand new lighter engine for the year with better gas mileage and the same horsepower. Lincoln was still going with the 1958 430 engine that LIED about the horsepower it had. Putting a freshly rebuilt one on a dyno today shows they were rated more like 250 HP NOT 315HP. They were ugly AND slow.
